David Wood is a Professor of Accounting at Brigham Young University. He teaches accounting technology topics, with a special focus on AI. He recently wrote a book titled, “Rewiring Your Mind for AI: How to Think, Work, and Thrive in the Age of Intelligence” and is influential in the accounting AI space. A native of North Idaho, he came to BYU and met his wife Cindy. They have been married for 23 years and have four children and a son-in-law.
Dr. Tulinda Larsen is a distinguished economist and Principal at NEXA, a leading financial advisory firm. From 2020 to 2024, she served as Executive Director of the Utah Advanced Materials & Manufacturing Initiative (UAMMI)—now the 47G UAMMI Institute—where she secured more than $30 million in grants to advance Utah’s manufacturing ecosystem.
Her career includes senior roles at the U.S. Department of Transportation and decades of leadership in transportation, aviation, aerospace, and manufacturing. Recognized as one of Utah’s top women leaders, Dr. Larsen brings expertise in economic strategy, public policy, and organizational growth.
She earned her Doctor of Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus and holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Economics from The George Washington University.
