    • They will receive forecasts for policy rates and how we are thinking about the future path of interest rates and credit conditions.

    Will Goldthwait- Client Portfolio Manager, State Street Global Advisors

    Will is a member of the Fixed Income Investment Management Team and responsible for the communication of cash and fixed income strategy and performance to clients and prospects. He covers multiple sectors and vehicles. Prior to joining State Street in 2014, Will was part of Royal Bank of Scotland and Merrill Lynch’s Institutional Sales Teams and before that worked as a Portfolio Manager for Columbia Management and Fleet Investment Advisors.

    White-Collar Crime in the Digital Age: Emerging Cybersecurity Threats by Ernie Herbert, Dominion Energy 


    Ernie Herbert is currently employed with Enbridge Gas in the Enterprise Security Department.  Prior to joining Enbridge Gas, Ernie worked for Saudi Aramco as a senior auditor/investigator in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, investigating allegations to include employee and vendor misconduct, conflicts of interest, product substitution, bribery, etc. 

    Prior to working at Saudi Aramco, Ernie was a Special Agent with the FBI from September 1995 – October 2011 and was assigned to the Salt Lake City division.   During that time he worked White Collar Crime matters for 8 years and then was assigned to the Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) focusing on international terrorism matters.  He was a member of the Salt Lake City division’s SWAT team and a firearms instructor.  From July 2007 – December 2008, he was promoted and assigned as the Assistant Legal Attache in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

    Payments Update by Jason Carone, Steve Douglass and James Dillard - The Clearing House   

    Jason Carone is a Senior Vice President at The Clearing House, responsible for EPN, the only private-sector ACH Operator.  In his role, Mr. Carone is responsible for strategy, plans and execution of initiatives for growth, efficiency, safety and new capabilities.  He works closely with industry groups, senior managers, regulators and other influencers to enhance the security and functionality of the ACH Network. Mr. Carone participates in industry forums and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, meetings and events. 

    He has more than 25 years' experience in bank product management, operations, consulting and digital banking, for various firms, including Silicon Valley Bank, Zions Bancorp, P&H Solutions, and U.S. Bank.  He received his undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Utah and holds the Accredited ACH Professional (AAP), Accredited Payments Risk Professional (APRP), Accredited Faster Payments Professional (AFPP) and Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certifications.

    Steve Douglass serves as Vice President of Sales and Business Development at The Clearing House.

    Prior to joining The Clearing House, Mr. Douglass spent 14 years at BNY Mellon, where he held various roles within BNY Mellon’s Private Wealth Management, Asset Management and Treasury Services groups. He also spent 1.5 years as a Sales and Relationship Officer in PNC’s Treasury Management – Strategic Partners division.

     Mr. Douglass has been with The Clearing House since October, 2020. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Economics from the University of Pittsburgh and holds the Certified Treasury Professional designation from the Association for Financial Professionals.

    James Dillard is part of the Client Relationship Management team at The Clearing House. He is responsible for identifying and securing new clients.

    James has over three decades of Treasury and leadership experience across a variety of roles and has previously worked at JPMorgan Chase and a regional financial institution.

    James has presented multiple times on instant payments, for both the Association for Financial Professionals, (AFP), and the US Faster Payments Council. James is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).
