An active member of the national Association of Finance Professionals, Joshua currently serves as Vice President in the AFP of Utah. Outside of work, Joshua enjoys spending time with his wife Camille and their four children in Syracuse, UT. A dedicated outdoor enthusiast, Joshua embraces any opportunity to connect with nature.
Steven Olson- Executive Director, Senior Private Wealth Portfolio Manager
Steven is an executive director located in the Salt Lake City Wells Fargo Private Bank office. Steven’s specific role is threefold. First, Steven is a thought leader on the economy and the global markets. Second, he provides timely market research and economic intellectual capital to Wells Fargo associates and Wells Fargo corporate clients. Third, he works with a small number of high-networth families, foundations and endowments in managing customized portfolios.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo Bank, Steven worked out of the New York office at J.P. Morgan for over twenty-two years, where he was a Managing Director. He worked with corporate clients across the country and the world. In this role, he formulated and disseminated market and economic strategic investment thought and was a resource in structuring, constructing and implementing portfolio strategies. Throughout his career, Steven has delivered valuable insight and perspective on the economy and markets to institutional and private clients. He has developed a unique ability to explain complex economic and market issues in a language that is understandable. He has been in the financial services industry for more than thirty-five years.
Steven earned degrees in Finance and Economics from Utah State University.
Steven and his wife, Camla, reside in Bountiful, Utah. They are the parents of five children and have twelve grandchildren. They enjoy spending time with their family, serving in their community and traveling.

Steve Mitchell is Executive Director, Treasury Management Consultant for Wells Fargo with over 20 years of experience specializing in treasury/payments strategies for companies in various business segments—Small Business, Middle Market and Mid-Corporate. Steve holds a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University (Go Cougs!) and an MBA from the University of Utah (Go Utes!). He is a recognized industry leader with various accreditations—Certified Treasury Professional (CTP®), Accredited ACH Professional (AAP), and Certified Purchasing Card Professional (CPCP®)—and is a member of national and regional chapters of the Association of Financial Professionals (AFP®), National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA) and Institute of Commercial Payments (IOCP).
Steve and his wife Alison reside in Centerville, UT and are parents to four kids, three of whom are out of the house (hurray!)—two daughters in Provo, UT; son in Taiwan. Their ‘baby boy’ is a freshman in high school and keeps them busy attending various sporting events. When not talking payments, Steve can be found doing family errands, working in the yard, golfing and skiing.
