Risk-Resilience – A Data-Driven Approach to Geopolitical Risk

View geopolitical risk from a new perspective by using a data-driven approach to assess risks and financial decisions. This dynamic session, will delve into key current U.S. and international political risks and offer a strategic perspective on the power of data-driven analysis. It will also focus on international investments and international currency strategies, providing an overview of tools available to manage risk, including political risk insurance, as well as opportunities to manage currency risks in an evolving market.

DAVID KINZEL Marsh Credit Specialty

David is a Political Risk and Structured Credit Insurance broker at Marsh & McLennan, based in Denver, CO. He works with  both corporate and bank clients to develop and negotiate  highly innovative structured payment and performance risk  solutions, in addition to insurance programs to protect equity investments mostly in emerging markets. David has over 19 years of experience in the field of risk management, during  which he has developed an expertise for helping clients navigate credit and risks in international markets, particularly for private equity firm emerging market investments. He holds  a Master of Business Administration from the University of California - Irvine, CA, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics  from Arizona State University - Tempe, AZ.

IVAN DROBNJAK Bannockburn Global Forex

Ivan Drobnjak is a Managing Director with Bannockburn Global Forex in Denver, responsible for the Mountain West region. He has been taking advantage of Earth’s rotation on its axis, making his way further West, his entire life. He was raised in Montenegro, studied at Berea College, and received his master’s in finance from Miami University, graduating top of the class.  Following a stint on the commercial banking front, he followed his passion for Capital Markets into Foreign Exchange.  Over the 15 years in this field Ivan has kept a beat on the markets, providing daily insight, advice and execution strategies, all while keeping his clients’ best interest in mind. Continuing the western journey, in 2018 he opened the Denver office for Bannockburn, a division of First Financial Bancorp. Here, along with his team, he continues to provide expertise on the largest capital market in the world.
