Your AFP of Utah leaders have set up a partnership with other regional AFP groups. The Rocky Mountain AFP, based in Denver, Colorado, is putting on an annual one day conference where you can gain 7.7 CTP credits and 6.0+ CPE credits. The event is on Friday, May 12, 2023 at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in downtown Denver.

This year our AFP Service Project is collecting monetary donations to help support The Asian Association of Utah dba Refugee & Immigrant Center and we invite you to join us. In the last year, we have seen the overall need to help support refugees as the U.S. withdrew our Troops from Afghanistan and the war in Ukraine. The Refugee center mission also includes helping victims of human trafficking.

 The AFP of Utah will buy up to 10 pizzas for the organization that generates the highest overall dollar donations, and will match the donation of our members up to $2,500.

So far our members have donated at least $600.

 Donations can be made directly through the Asian Association website https://aau-slc.org/donate/ then email your receipt to afpofutah@gmail.com or by emailing afpofutah@gmail.com indicating how much you would like to donate so they can generate an invoice to pay by credit card.
 
Our donation period will end on Monday, September 19th.
